A Story by Yaron about Shay, His Values, and How He Helped in an Important Life Decision
I want to share one story, out of many, that tells a little about who Shay Michaeli was:
Shay was a wonderful young man. Beyond his lightness and infectious humor, he was also a great conversationalist – someone who not only heard you, but truly listened.
One day I found myself at a major crossroads in life. Each path could have led me to very different lives, and more than that, a wrong choice could have brought much pain and suffering into my life.
I sat down to consult with Shay, and he was unique, different from anyone else I had spoken with. Not only did he understand me and give space to my feelings, but he also gave me the truest advice possible in my situation – to listen to my heart and to the feelings in my body.
“It sounds like you’ve already made your choice,” Shay told me. In that moment, all the noise and inner confusion faded, and I knew exactly what I needed to do.
From there, things unfolded in a way that I chose what was right for me – a choice that led me to a happier and more fulfilling life. Shay was the one who made me realize it. Without that consultation with him, I don’t know where I’d be today. But one thing I do know – I am deeply grateful that I spoke with him. He advised me from the heart, as a true friend, heart to heart. In his presence, I always felt there was someone to turn to, someone who would truly listen.
Shay was a true friend, a friend with rare values, caring, who left a positive mark on the world. His values are a shining example – ones we can look to, learn from, and live by.
May his soul be bound in the bond of life 🙏🏼❤️
