Participation in the lighting ceremony of the seventh Hanukkah candle at the Communications and Cyber Corps Memorial Site – 31.12.2024

We were invited by the memorial website for the fallen of the Signal and Cyber Corps in Yehud, under the management of Mr. Yehuda Matityahu, to light the seventh candle of Hanukkah at the Cyber Corps memorial site.

At the ceremony, I lit the candles and recited the blessing for lighting the candles.
Later in the evening, Orly Michaeli took the stage and gave an emotional speech, speaking about the fallen soldiers of the C4I Corps, about Shay and Oram. She also wished for the swift return of the abductees.

Later on, speeches were given, including by the chairman of the Communications and Cyber Corps Memorial Association, Shlomo Inbar (96 years old today!) who also launched an autobiographical book he wrote. The commander of the training base (Bahad 7) of the Cyber Corps also took the stage. Additionally, on behalf of the association and the site, the outgoing mayor of Yehud-Monosson bid farewell and congratulated the incoming mayor.
The ceremony included songs sung by the local choir of Yehud, and the evening was concluded by the mentalist Lior Hochman in a mesmerizing, funny, and impressive performance.
